The School is having owened buses and school bus is available for students from Nursery to Class XII. A bus identity card is issued to all students using the school bus.
This card must be carried to the school daily and will be made available for checking at the request of the bus conductor/school authorities. Bus fee is to be paid for eleven months.
One month advance notice must be given before discontinuing the use of the bus or one month fee in lieu of notice.
Students are not permitted to add new stops for their convenience without seeking permission from the Principal. Parents are requested to note that the bus routes are fixed after careful planning and no routes can be changed or extended to suit individual needs.
PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES
Students must reach the bus stop at least a few minutes before the time scheduled for the arrival of the school bus.
Students should always stay away from the main road while waiting for the school bus. Always use zebra crossings while crossing roads.
Students should not board or alight from the bus until the bus has come to a complete halt.
Please board the bus in proper queue.
Students should remain seated and not move around when the bus is in motion.
Students should not lean out of the window or stick their limbs out.
Students should occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding the school bus.
Older students should look after the younger ones by offering them their seats.
The front door is in the only authorised entrance and exit and only the conductor is authorized to open the door.
Each bus has a teacher in-charge for that route.
Indiscipline or unruly behaviour on the part of the students causes inconvenience to the driver, conductor and fellow students using the school bus. The unruly students will not be permitted to continue using the school bus if an admonition from the Principal fails to produce the desired effect.
BUS RULES
All students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the bus stops at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.
When the bus is in motion students must not move around in the bus and no part of their body should be outside the bus.
Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.
Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.
No student is allowed to east in the bus.
Discarding of trash or food either inside or outside buses is not permitted.
Unruly behavior like shrieking, shouting and fighting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behavior is expected at all times.
The bus teachers and student bus monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the Principal.
Bus permit cards must be beyond the speed of 40 Km/h.
There shall be no standing on the foot board.
Parents should volunteer for the duty.
Parents will take prior written permission from the school if they do not want the child to travel back by bus on a particular day.
The bus service provided by the school is an extended facility for the parents. To the best of our ability we take all care to provide a good service and adhere to the timings. However, the school is in no way responsible for the bus coming late or early and injury or accidents caused to the child or any other unforeseen mishap.
The buses will play on the routes and stop as indicated and no request for change will be entertained. The parents are at a liberty to discontinue the bus service (giving the notice) if they are not satisfied with the school transport system.
One Clear calendar month’s notice is required before child can discontinue the use of school transport failing which one month’s transport charges will have to be paid in lieu of one month’s notice. Since the buses are on contract withdrawal from the use of bus is not allowed from 1st January to 31st March.
Parents are advised to take utmost care if they hire the service or private vans/auto-rickshaws of their own. The school management does not take responsibility of any kind of such private operators.
